Introduction—
      Concerning the Feasts of Jehovah (Leviticus 23), I would like to say a few words about the Seventh-day Adventist Church, of which I and my wife are members. We were introduced to the Feasts around the year 2000 and have learned that they teach the Plan of Redemption in detail —and that in fact, the Feasts have NOT been done away and it is imperative the last generation know what both the Spring and Fall Feasts mean to their salvation as they relate to the last day events! In these few pages, we won’t be writing about the wonderful lessons which a study of the Feasts teach (these studies will come later), but rather that the Seventh-day Adventist Church* is missing the reasons why the Lord’s Holy Days are vital for us to understand and keep (as the Lord taught the Israelites)  —for we are the last generation of earth’s history!
      That being said - - -

The Seventh-day Adventist Church
does not keep the Feasts of the Lord.
 *FS1

      There is no argument that Christ kept the Feasts, all eight of them as listed in Leviticus 23. Most of us have been taught that there are seven Feasts of the Lord, but in fact, there are eight!  The seventh-day Sabbath is the first “Feast” mentioned in Leviticus 23:2, 3. It is only appropriate to place the Sabbath as the first “Feast,” —for Leviticus teaches that the seventh-day Sabbath is further explained by lessons in time in each of the other seven Feasts; Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles; including the timing of the Jubilee in chapter 25. Surely the Sabbath will be taught more fully in the last day events! (EW 33.2)  Providentially, the Church’s name conveys that they keep the first Feast of Leviticus  —the seventh-day Sabbath.  Lev 23:2, 3.  —Gen 2:1-3; Ex 20:8-11; Rev 14:7.
      Jesus gave the details of the Feasts to Moses so that the Israelites would know when and how to worship God and in the process learn the Plan of Salvation. By yearly rehearsing the lessons of God’s Holy Days, the Plan of Redemption was always kept fresh in the minds of God’s people. This is even more important for us, the last generation, —for the Fall Feasts have yet to be fulfilled to us! And this is exactly why I write the following—
      Jesus came in person to fulfill the Feasts, not to do away or destroy. Matt 5:17, 18. The Spring Feasts consist of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost. Jesus fulfilled these Feasts by being our Passover Lamb; by giving us His sinless Bread of Life; and being in the grave three days He arose as the First Fruits, showing that when self is buried with Christ, we too will arise to be with Him in glory. The sacrifice for sin was NOT done away! Jesus is now our blood sacrifice! Daily, we will need to claim Jesus as our Lamb and Priest, repenting of our sins before the Throne of God, —if we are to receive Salvation. Rom 8:34.
      But there arises a huge problem with many facets for those who believe the Feasts are no longer valid! The Church teaches (as do many churches) that the Feasts were done away by the death of Jesus on the cross, and that we need not be concerned with them. But Jesus does not teach that! Jesus teaches that He came to fulfill the Feasts, —to fulfill the prophecies which they teach. Jesus continued to keep the Feasts AFTER His death by teaching the disciples to gather together on Pentecost (Acts 1 & 2) that they may receive the blessing of God, —the giving of the Early Rain of the Holy Spirit. FS  The disciples also continued to keep the Feasts years AFTER Jesus ‘was taken up’ to the Heavenly Sanctuary (Rev 1:12, 13).  (Ellen White comments on Paul and Luke keeping the Feasts Acts 18:21; 20:16 in The Acts of the Apostles, chp. 37, pgs. 389-398; see selected sentences from AA in FS.)
      We now live in the last days of earth’s history and the Church teaches that there is no need to keep God’s Feasts. This is surely a Devious plan by Satan to keep the Church members from being ready to enter with Jesus into the last-day fulfillment of the Fall Feasts:  the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles. Why would Jesus do away with the Fall Feasts when in fact He has yet to fulfill their prophecies? Jesus did not come to do away, He came to fulfill the prophecies of the Feasts —both the Spring Feasts and the Fall Feasts!!!  Matt 3:15; 5:17, 18.
      If we believe that the Feasts have been done away; then how can we enter into the Most Holy Place with our High Priest on the last great Day of Atonement, where and when the Plan of Salvation is completed (Rev 10:7) for our eternal security? How can our sins be taken out of the Heavenly Sanctuary and placed on the head of the goat, Satan, who will be led out of the camp into the wilderness, if in fact we do not by faith walk with Jesus at that time? Be assured, just as Jesus fulfilled the Spring Feasts on the very days specified (24-hour days), even at the prophesied hour; —so also, will Jesus fulfill the soon coming Fall Feasts as to specific events and times! The little book of Daniel gives us the details of those events and times! Rev 10.
      It is our privilege, as did the Israelites, to yearly learn of the Plan of Redemption so that we are not without oil in our lamps (and extra oil of the Spirit for the time of waiting). By careful study of the details which the Spring and Fall Feasts teach —we will not be surprised by the fulfillment of events or time.  Dan 11:32-35; 12:3, 10.

What does Ellen White say about the Feasts of the Lord?—
      Ellen White* tells us that the Fall Feasts are yet to be fulfilled by Jesus just as the Spring Feasts were fulfilled! In the first two paragraphs below, taken from her book The Great Controversy, pub. date 1911, she makes comment about the Spring Feasts as they were fulfilled by Christ at His first coming. In the third paragraph she states that the Fall Feasts will also be fulfilled by Jesus at His second coming.

Concerning the Spring Feasts, Ellen White writes—
      ¶ 1. “The slaying of the Passover lamb was a shadow of the death of Christ. Says Paul: “Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.” 1 Corinthians 5:7. The sheaf of first fruits, which at the time of the Passover was waved before the Lord, was typical of the resurrection of Christ. Paul says, in speaking of the resurrection of the Lord and of all His people: “Christ the first fruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.” 1 Corinthians 15:23. Like the wave sheaf, which was the first ripe grain gathered before the harvest, Christ is the first fruits of that immortal harvest of redeemed ones that at the future resurrection shall be gathered into the garner of God.  {The Great Controversy, pg. 399.2}  [Emphasis supplied]
      [Not only does Ellen White apply the fulfillment of Firstfruits to Christ at His first coming, but she also applies the fulfillment of Firstfruits to the redeemed at Christ’s second coming!]
      ¶ 2. “These types [the Spring Feasts] were fulfilled, not only as to the event, but as to the time. On the fourteenth day of the first Jewish month, the very day and month on which for fifteen long centuries the Passover lamb had been slain, Christ, having eaten the Passover with His disciples, instituted that feast which was to commemorate His own death as “the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” [John 1:29] That same night He was taken by wicked hands to be crucified and slain. And as the antitype of the wave sheaf our Lord was raised from the dead on the third day, “the first fruits of them that slept,” [1 Cor 15:20] a sample of all the resurrected just, whose “vile body” shall be changed, and “fashioned like unto His glorious body.” Verse 20; Philippians 3:21.”  {GC 399.3}  [Emphasis supplied]
      [“. . . instituted that feast . . . to commemorate . . .” —To establish, appoint, fix; To set up or lay the groundwork to be established.  Jesus didn’t die to do away with the Feast of Passover; He came to fulfill, to replace the sacrifice of a lamb, with Himself as the sinless Lamb of God. It is only the sacrificial system that was to be fulfilled and replaced by Christ! The Holy Days of the Lord were yet to have a deeper meaning of fulfillment to the saints!]

Concerning the Fall Feasts, she continues—
      ¶ 3. In like manner [as the Spring Feasts were fulfilled by Christ —event and time,  so also—] the types which relate to the second advent [Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles] must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service. Under the Mosaic system the cleansing of the sanctuary, or the great Day of Atonement, occurred on the tenth day of the seventh Jewish month (Leviticus 16:29-34), when the high priest, having made an atonement for all Israel, and thus removed their sins from the sanctuary, came forth and blessed the people.”  {GC 399.4} {Also in the 1888 printing of The Great Controversy.}  [Emphasis supplied]
      [The Fall Feasts illustrate the completion of the Plan of Redemption by Christ. Rev 10:7 The last event on the Day of Atonement places the atoned sins of the saints upon the goat, Satan, and he is led into the 1,000-year wilderness of death.
      These statements from The Great Controversy alone should be enough, you would think, to show Seventh-day Adventists that the Feasts are vital to the last generation, and more specifically the Fall Feasts! Sadly, there are only a few who understand these Truths and keep them.]

The Last Great Day of Atonement
      The following statement comes from a letter written to Eli Curtis, April 21, 1847. The letter was then printed, publicly, in
A Word to the Little Flock. She writes that “I . . . fully agree with you on some points, but on others we widely differ.” {WLF 11.2} The letter up to the paragraphs quoted below are outlining an order of last-day events leading up to the final event —the cleansing of the Heavenly Temple on the Day of Atonement.
      (The last seven paragraphs of the letter are quoted below. Read the entire pamphlet here. Read the entire letter here.)

Concerning the Day of Atonement Ellen White writes—
      “You also think [Eli Curtis], that Michael stood up, and the time of trouble commenced, in the spring of 1844.  {WLF 12.3}
      “The Lord has shown me [Ellen White] in vision, that Jesus rose up, and shut the door, and entered the Holy of Holies, at the 7th month 1844; but Michael’s standing up (Daniel 12:1) to deliver his people, is in the future.  {WLF 12.4}
      “This, will not take place, until Jesus has finished his priestly office in the Heavenly Sanctuary, and lays off his priestly attire, and puts on his most kingly robes, and crown, to ride forth on the cloudy chariot, to “thresh the heathen in anger,” and deliver his people.  [Hab 3:12]  {WLF 12.5}
      “Then Jesus will have the sharp sickle in his hand, (Revelation 14:14) and then the saints will cry day and night to Jesus on the cloud, to thrust in his sharp sickle and reap.  {WLF 12.6}
      “This, will be the time of Jacob’s trouble, (Jeremiah 30:5-8) out of which, the saints will be delivered by the voice of God.  {WLF 12.7}
      “I believe the Sanctuary, to be cleansed at the end of the 2300 days, is the New Jerusalem Temple, of which Christ is a minister. The Lord shew me [Ellen White] in vision, more than one year ago, that Brother Crosier had the true light, on the cleansing of the Sanctuary, &c; and that it was his will, that Brother C. should write out the view which he gave us in the Day-Star, Extra, February 7, 1846. I feel fully authorized by the Lord, to recommend that Extra, to every saint.  {WLF 12.8}  [Emphasis supplied]
      “I pray that these lines may prove a blessing to you, and all the dear children who may read them.    *  *  E. G. White”  {WLF 12.9}
Comments on the above statement
      “I believe [Ellen White] the Sanctuary, to be cleansed [future tense/Day of Atonement] at the end of the 2300 days [still future tense * ^ FS –see below], is the New Jerusalem Temple, of which Christ is a minister.”  {WLF 12.8}  FS2
      Isn’t it interesting that Ellen White, after writing this astounding statement, then refers to Brother (Owen) Crosier’s article as having “the true light, on the cleansing of the Sanctuary, &c;” AND thus, his and her explanation, —is “authorized by the Lord.”
---------------------
  * The Heavenly Sanctuary was NOT cleansed on the Day of Atonement at the end of the 2300 years, —October 22, 1844. It will be cleansed at the end of the 2300 antitypical days on the last great Day of Atonement!  The cleansing of the Heavenly Sanctuary takes place when the High Priest, Jesus, removes the sins of the forgiven saints and places them on the head of the goat, Satan.

  ^  “And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Dan 8:14; Lev 23:27, 28; Heb 2:17; 4:14-16; 8:1, 2; Rev 11:1; 15:3, 4; 22:10-12.

Concerning the Feast of Tabernacles Ellen White writes
      “Then Jesus’ silver trumpet sounded, as He descended on the cloud, wrapped in flames of fire. He gazed on the graves of the sleeping saints, then raised His eyes and hands to heaven, and cried, “Awake! awake! awake! ye that sleep in the dust, and arise.” Then there was a mighty earthquake. The graves opened, and the dead came up clothed with immortality. The 144,000 shouted, “Alleluia!” as they recognized their friends who had been torn from them by death, and in the same moment we were changed and caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air.  {Early Writings, pg. 16.1}
      “We all entered the cloud together, and were seven days ascending to the sea of glass*, when Jesus brought the crowns, and with His own right hand placed them on our heads. He gave us harps of gold and palms of victory. Here on the sea of glass the 144,000 stood in a perfect square. Some of them had very bright crowns, others not so bright. Some crowns appeared heavy with stars, while others had but few. All were perfectly satisfied with their crowns. And they were all clothed with a glorious white mantle from their shoulders to their feet. Angels were all about us as we marched over the sea of glass to the gate of the city. Jesus raised His mighty, glorious arm, laid hold of the pearly gate, swung it back on its glittering hinges, and said to us, “You have washed your robes in My blood, stood stiffly for My truth, enter in.” We all marched in and felt that we had a perfect right in the city.” {EW 16.2}
---------------------
      * The journey to the Holy City is a prophecy foretold in the timing of the Feast of Tabernacles. On “the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.” At our Lord’s coming He will “gather in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.”
      For seven days we shall dwell in “booths” under the stars as our Savior takes us to the Holy City. We shall travel to the City of God for seven days, and on the eighth day, standing on “the sea of glass,” we shall receive our crowns of victory. Then Our Savior and King will swing open the gates of the City and on the eighth day we shall enter our eternal home forever, never to sleep in booths again!That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the Lord.”  Lev 23:34-44.
      Ellen White knew! She knew and tried in the early development (date of this writing, 1847) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to show that the Feasts of the Lord have not been done away; that in fact, just as the Spring Feasts were fulfilled by Christ at His first coming, the Fall Feasts would also be fulfilled at His second coming!
      And so the question begs to be asked: —Has the Church learned these truths and encouraged their members to honor the Feasts of the Lord God of Heaven that the members may be prepared for the fulfillment of the Fall Feasts?  NO!!!  —The marriage of the Lamb, as Christ is eternally joined to the saints, whose sins have been placed on Satan, will be performed on a Feast Day, —on the last great Day of Atonement! And then the door is closed!  Do we have that special Oil in our flasks that we may “at midnight [heed the cry], Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”  Matt 25:1-13.

Concerning the Jubilee
      In the following quote from Ellen White, I include this first paragraph as a foundation for the Jubilee statement on the next page/paragraph.

      ¶ 1.  “In the time of trouble, we all fled from the cities and villages, [Ezekiel 7:15, 16. Luke 17:30-36. See Campbell’s Translation.] but were pursued by the wicked, who entered the houses of the saints with the sword. They raised the sword to kill us, but it broke, and fell, as powerless as a straw. Then we all cried day and night for deliverance, and the cry came up before God. [Luke 18:7, 8.] The sun came up, and the moon stood still. [Habakkuk 3:11.] The streams ceased to flow. [2 ESDRAS 6:24.] Dark heavy clouds came up, and clashed against each other. [2 ESDRAS 15:34,35.] But there was one clear place of settled glory, from whence came the voice of God like many waters, which shook the heavens, and the earth. [Joel 3:16. Hebrews 12:25-27.] The sky opened and shut, and was in commotion. [Revelation 6:14. Matthew 24:29.] The mountains shook like a reed in the wind, and cast out ragged rocks all around. The sea boiled like a pot, and cast out stones upon the land. [Habakkuk 3:8-10. Isaiah 2:19-21.] And as God spoke the day and hour of Jesus’ coming, [Ezekiel 12:25. Mark 13:32.] and delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, [Ezekiel 20:37. Hebrews 12:22-25.] He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth! [Jeremiah 25:30, 31.] The Israel of God stood with their eyes fixed upwards, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder! It was awfully solemn. At the end of every sentence, the saints shouted, Glory! Hallelujah! Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God; and they shone with the glory as Moses’ face did when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them, for the glory. [Song of Solomon 5:1-5.] And when the never-ending blessing was pronounced on those who had honored God, in keeping His Sabbath holy, there was a mighty shout of victory over the Beast, and over his Image.  {A Word to the Little Flock, 1847, pg. 19.2}
      ¶ 2.  “Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I saw the pious slave rise in triumph and victory, and shake off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was in confusion, and knew not what to do; for the wicked could not understand the words of the voice of God. [Daniel 12:10.] Soon appeared the great white cloud. [Revelation 14:14.] It looked more lovely than ever before. On it sat the Son of Man. [Luke 21:27.] At first we did not see Jesus on the cloud, but as it drew near the earth, we could behold his lovely person. This cloud when it first appeared was the Sign of the Son of Man in heaven. [Matthew 24:30.] The voice of the Son of God called forth the sleeping saints, [John 5:25-28.] clothed with a glorious immortality. The living saints were changed in a moment, and caught up with them in the cloudy chariot. [1Thessalonians 4:17.] It looked all over glorious as it rolled upwards. On either side of the chariot were wings, and beneath it wheels. And as the chariot rolled upwards, the wheels cried Holy, and the wings as they moved, cried Holy, and the retinue of Holy Angels around the cloud cried Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty. And the saints in the cloud cried Glory, Hallelujah. And the cloudy chariot rolled upwards to the Holy City. Jesus threw open the gates of the Golden City, and led us in. [Isaiah 26:2.] Here we were made welcome, for we had kept the “Commandments of God,” and had a “right to the tree of life. [Revelation 22:14.]”  {WLF 20.1}  (Also printed in Early Writings, pg. 34.1-35.1.)

      Ellen White would not have placed this statement about the Jubilee if she didn’t believe that it fit here, —in the timing of the other events which she outlines in this letter. Thus, this is a very interesting statement. Why?—
      First of all, the Jubilee starts on the Day of Atonement at the end of the seventh set of seven years, —in the 49th year. This statement is a continuing explanation of the previous Ellen White statement on the Day of Atonement.
      And then we should understand that a Sabbatical has 7 years. Seven Sabbaticals is 49 years. The Jubilee comes at the end of the 49th year which is the 50th year. The count to the next Jubilee starts at the end of the last of seven Sabbaticals, with the first year of the first Sabbatical, and NOT at the end of the 50th year. The 50th year is the 1st year of the next set of 49 years (or group of seven Sabbaticals). Again, the 50th year, the year of the Jubilee, is the SAME year that starts the counting for the next 49 years. Are we clear on this? :-)  Lev 25
      Type explains antitype as seen in the counting to the Day of Pentecost which in turn explains the counting of the Jubilees! The counting to Pentecost starts on the first day after the first seventh-day Sabbath after the wave sheaf offering. The Jubilees are based on the seventh-day Sabbath which is explained in the counting of seven Sabbaths to the Day of Pentecost on the 50th day! (The 50th day is the first day of the week after the seventh Sabbath. Thus, Pentecost will always be on the first day of the week, Sunday. The emphasis is on the seventh-day Sabbath, not on Sunday! And thus, the counting of the Jubilees are also based on the seventh-day Sabbath and the emphasis is on the Sabbath, not on the fiftieth year.)
      “And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.” Lev 23:15, 16.
      Thus, there are seven seventh-day Sabbaths completed, a total of 49 days, and the next day (“the morrow after the seventh sabbath”) —the first day of the week— is counted as Pentecost on the 50th day. Lev 23:16. The count to Pentecost is from Sabbath to Sabbath! Otherwise, the significance and Message of the Sabbath, the first Feast of Leviticus 23, as fulfilled in Christ is made of none effect. Let’s make this counting absolutely clear:  The repeating/reoccurring count of the Jubilee years is from 49 to 49, NOT from 50 to 50;  —from the first Sabbatical to the seventh Sabbatical, in either Pentecost days or Jubilee years  —it is counted from Sabbath rest to Sabbath rest through Christ the Creator of the Sabbath which brings Redemption’s Rest. Counting the Jubilees by 50 dislodges the very meaning of the Sabbath from the Day of Pentecost and from the Jubilees. Surely, this is a fulfillment of teaching “the Sabbath more fully! FS EW 33.2.
      “Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. . . And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.”  Lev 25:9, 10, 24.
      Jesus with Gabriel uses the Jubilees to foretell the time of His first coming by giving to Daniel the first timeline to be fulfilled within the 2300 days of Daniel 8:14—  Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city . . .” Dan 9:24. The meaning of the words “seventy weeks” is given in Strong’s Concordance, numbers H7657 and H7620, —“1. literal, sevened, i.e., a week (specifically, of years).” If we understand the meaning rightly, then Daniel didn’t for a minute think that the Messiah was to come in seventy literal weeks, 490 days. He understood the meaning of what was prophesied; it would be weeks of years, 490 years. Thus, he also knew that the longer time prophecy of Daniel 8, the 2300 days, was to continue down through time as 2300 years. (The presentation of these prophecies as years and days is what confused Daniel; but that is for another writing.)  Daniel said in the next verse that he understood “the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.” Dan 10:1.
      This prophecy is based on the Jubilees which started in B.C. 457 and counting 10 Jubilees, gave the Jewish Church time, 490 years, to prepare for the coming Messiah. Unfortunately, the Church didn’t prepare and probation closed for the Church at the stoning of Stephen —ending the 490 years in 34 A.D. See Acts chapters 6, 7, 8:1-4.  The prophetic timelines of Daniel chapters 8 & 9 is based on a Sabbatical repeating count of forty-nine years, not a count of fifty years! If fifty years was used to count the 10 Jubilees, the total would have been 500 years, which would have been 10 years off from the fulfillment of 490 years. Christ gave the time as 490 years, not 500 years! The use of a reoccurring fifty years will always place an extra year for every Sabbatical cycle.
      Was the Church ready to welcome the Messiah?  NO!!!  Why?  Because they were not prepared
          “1–to finish the transgression, and
            2–to make an end of sins, and
            3–to make reconciliation for iniquity, and
            4–to bring in everlasting righteousness, and
            5–to seal up the vision
            6–and [to seal up the] prophecy, and
            7–to anoint the most Holy.” Dan 9:24.

      Some teach that the Church could not fulfill these seven requirements, that ONLY Jesus could fulfill them. And they are right, but ONLY partially right! The Church FAILED to complete its part of the covenant in the prophesied plan of Redemption and thus was born the Apostolic Church which was willing to fulfill these requirements and to take the Gospel to the world. Within this truth lies the mystery of Redemption for the last generation, —for these prophecies shall be repeated —there is no doubt!
      The question is: Will the outcome be any different for the Church which lives through these seven thundering last-day events? Rev 10:1-3. Will the Church of the last days take the little book of Daniel and eat it, making the last-day prophecies a part of their lives, willingly following by faith their Savior’s every move and command  —“Thou must prophesy again!”? Rev 10:8-11; EW 54.2. The army of the Lord will know what and when; they will know why and where to take the right action, for the prophetic thunders of the little book are written in great detail, and they will sound specifically for the salvation of the last generation!
      I have no problem saying that the Church of today has FAILED to read the map the Lord Himself has set before them!!!  FS  Every Church member has this map in their possession! God forbid that we stay in this condition!!! God forgive us, for we have sinned, —greater than any previous generation!  Daniel’s prayer is for the Church today—
      “We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and [that are] far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.” Dan 9:5-7.
      There is no doubt that the last great earthly Jubilee will soon be fulfilled in event and time, and the release of its captives will give us a Heavenly home in the Holy City of Jehovah, forever!  Amen, and Amen!

“The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

Mark 1:15-18

      Our Heavenly Father has given the Feasts (Lev 23)  —fulfilled through His Son (Matt 5:18-20) —  for a very specific fulfillment to the last generation. Each of the Feasts are based on the seventh-day Sabbath and each Feast teaches a different aspect of the Sabbath MORE FULLY! (EW 33.2) They are given as a Gift, for they are a blessing unto Life, and there will soon be a victorious people who will follow Jesus in the last movements/events of the great controversy with praise and thanksgiving!

God’s commands are not demands!
God’s Feasts illustrate the Gift of Life eternal —past, present, and future!

      The events of the Feasts/thunders are NOT what we have to do for salvation; they teach us the blessings we receive by keeping His commandments! (Rev 12:17: 14:12; 22:14; Dan 9:24Matt 13:14-17.)

How have we missed hearing the voice of our Savior?—
      How have we missed this, the greatest Truth of Redemption? Satan has stolen our, the last generation’s inheritance, which is read from the book of seven thundering events by the Mighty Angel Jesus. Satan has made the Feasts of the Lord of no effect before the minds of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We have missed the greatest Truths given to man! The Truths taught in the Feasts of the Lord are made to prepare the last generation to meet their Savior and yet we are sound asleep! Why are we asleep? The answer is simple: The demons have been at work! What a grand plan: —Get the Church to believe that the Feasts have been done away, and they will be asleep to the plan of Redemption for the last generation! Will we awake in time? YES! Some will awake before it is too late. But Jesus foretold that half the Church would not be ready for the Feast, the last great Day of Atonement, which portrays the Wedding of Christ to His purified Church. Matt 25:1-13. All the Church slept!!!  What were they asleep to? They are asleep to the timing of the Wedding on the Day of Atonement! The robe/oil of the Holy Spirit which comes from the Father could not be given them, —they were NOT prepared!  (Further Study:  To Meet the Bridegroom by Ellen White, Christ Object Lessons, pg. 405.)
      When we finally awake, will there be time for us to learn the lessons that Jesus gives in the Feast of Trumpets so that we know when to move with Christ in the Heavenly Sanctuary on the Day of Atonement? We surely will not partake in the soon coming Feast of Tabernacles if we do not understand the meaning of Trumpets and take part in true repentance before the final Day of Atonement. It would be prudent that we act on the Feasts of the Lord NOW, —later may be too late!  (Luke 19:41-46)
      Just as the Church was asleep to the first coming of Christ, so also, is the Church asleep to the Second Coming of Christ. Are we repeating history?  YES!  Of that there is no doubt!  If we are not ready to face the judgment of the living on the last great Day of Atonement, then we surely will not be ready to meet Him in the clouds!

AWAKE  Seventh-day Adventist  AWAKE!
Prepare  to  meet  thy  God!

      “And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” Matt 25:8-10.

Ellen White and this webpage—
      It is vitally important, even paramount, that when the term Seventh-day Adventist Church is used in this writing, it does NOT refer to the individual church member, but to the church organization —the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists— which officially determines what is printed for the Church and taught by the church member. There is most likely a greater number than we think that have studied the Bible and read Ellen White’s statements and have begun to realize that she teaches far more than what they have heard or read from the Church organization.

      We have placed Ellen White’s comments at the forefront on these pages specifically for the benefit of Seventh-day Adventist members. It seems that some members inwardly believe that if Ellen White says it, they will believe it; which of course is a sad state of priorities. If we would only STUDY  —REALLY STUDY GOD’S WORD—  we would find that the Bible teaches far more than Ellen White could ever teach!
      My wife and I are Seventh-day Adventist members, but more than that we follow our Savior, Yeshua, wherever He leads. It is our highest goal to search God’s Word with prayer for the Truths given to the last generation and then, to place them on LittleBookOpen.org. We love the Seventh-day Adventist Church! Its beliefs are closest to what the Bible teaches than those of any other church, that we know of. We believe that God has led the Church and that He still leads today. The question we have; —Is the Church listening to what the Mighty Angel is reading to her in the little open book of Daniel for the last generation? If the Church were teaching the seven thunders, she would understand that the events of the seven thunders are very closely associated with the Feasts of the Lord! But that is NOT being taught by the Church! Therefore, we are very concerned for the condition of the Church! She is NOT now ready to follow the Mighty Angel into giving the covenant judgment-hour message, and therefore, she is NOT ready for the judgment of the living! The Church has become stagnant in some areas of prophecy and desperately needs a Revival if she is to confront the swift-coming attacks of Satan.

      “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
      “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and [that] the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
      “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”
Rev 3:17-19.
