In a Few Words— In a Few Words— The seven thunders (last-day events) are based on Daniel’s fulfilled prophetic events of the past. In the order of Daniel’s time prophecies, the symbolic years, the fifth event would be: 538 AD —The abomination of desolation is set-up; the daily taken away; and shall pollute the sanctuary of strength; to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot; —the Papacy rules for 1260 years until 1798.
