Type and Antitype
of the 2300 Years/Days Chart

Back to main study.

The second chart below the Mirror Chart shows better the placement of the 2300 years in history and its relationship to the repeated 2300 days as the seven thundering last-day events. The 2300 years ended in 1844, and then after four generations, the 2300 days begins at the foretold event, —the transgression of desolation (Dan 8:13; a U.S. National Sunday Law), which grows into the abomination of desolation (Dan 11:31; 12:11; the setting up of the Papacy for world dominion), and ends at the cleansing of the Heavenly Sanctuary (Dan 8:14).

  * The two time periods, the 2300 years and the 2300 days are two different time periods; they have their fulfillment at different periods in the plan of salvation and teach collectively that past prophetic history will be repeated as last-day events, specifically, the seven thunders. (Rev 10:11)

  * The 2300 years precedes the fulfillment of the 2300 days.

  * The 2300 years is the type and the antitype is the 2300 days. The type is a shadow. It prefigures, and is a pattern, which points forward to the fulfillment of the last-day events.

  * The fulfilled prophetic history of Daniel is re-enacted in the seven thunders of Revelation.

  * The time between the fulfillment of the 2300 years and the starting of the 2300 days is the judgment of the dead. (Four generations pass.)

  * How long is short? Yes, for those who are wondering, the 2300 days is 6 years, 3 months, and 20 days. Is that short, or is it too long for the last events? It is not for us to answer that question except to say that the events and days will pass by so fast that we will be praying for more time to teach those who thrist after Righteousness.

  * 2300 days is NOT seven years. The larger portion of Christians today who use time with their last-day events teach a fulfillment of an extended seventieth week of seven years (separated from the 69 weeks and displaced at the end of time), based on Daniel 9. It is taught that there is an “abomination of desolation” in the midst of the week of seven years, which involves the destruction of a literal rebuilt temple in Jerusalem by the anti-Christ. The false teaching of last day events is already set up! If God allows, Satan will no doubt cause these false interpretations of Scripture to be fulfilled so that the eyes of all he is able to deceive will be on the temple in Jerusalem, rather than on the Heavenly Sanctuary, where Jesus is completing His most important work of redemption! (Matt 24:24; Dan 11:40-45; Rev 13:11-18; Dan 8:14; 9:24.
